The Bartenders Academy® of New York's staff has been training men and women of all ages in bartending since 1988. Since then, the Bartenders Academy® of New York has trained over 20,000 men and women in the art and science of bartending. In the following years, Bartenders Academy® of New York has become the #1 rated school on Long Island and were awarded Long Island's Most Valuable Bar Establishment three years in a row!

The Bartenders Academy® of New York is also a member of the New York State Restaurant Association, the Suffolk County Tavern Association and the IGHRM (International Guild of Hospitality & Restaurant Managers).

Every member of Bartenders Academy® of New York's staff currently bartends in order to stay up-to-date with the always changing industry and hot cocktail trends. The Director of the Yaphank location, Chris Cardone, is a Flair Bartenders' Association National Representative for the United States and has finished as a TOP 10 finalist in many of their world flair bartending competitions. Chris was voted Long Island's Most Valuable Bartender in 2006 and 2007.
